Organising your own event

We have hundreds of supporters who organise their own events for CALM to help increase awareness and raise money: gigs, comedy nights, scrabble competitions, cricket days, 5 a-side football, art exhibitions, bake sales, quizzes at work, anything fun you can think of…

Top tips to boost your fundraising >

Once you know what you’re doing, register your event with us to make it official. You can also order postcards, posters, running vests, T-shirts or collection tins to help with your fundraising.

Try and give us a heads up in plenty of time, at least three weeks before your event. We’re a small team so need a bit of time to turn things around this end.

Pledges and celebrations

Ask for donations instead of presents for your birthday, mark a significant celebration with donations to CALM or offload unwanted goods on eBay.

Set up a Justgiving page now, or collect donations and pay it in to us.

Collecting at a funeral
If you choose to collect for CALM at a funeral of a loved one, your funeral director should be able to help you with arrangements. Please ask people to make cheques payable to Campaign Against Living Miserably. If you’re collecting cash you can either send us a cheque for the total or pay it in to us. Pop us an email so we know to expect it and can make sure we thank you.
